Term Four, 2021

“If you want to go fast go alone. If you want to go far go
together” despite all of the challenges, we have reached
the end of the school year together and stronger. Our focus
in term four continued to be teaching and learning safely
every day.

As 2021 draws to a close, I would like to thank our School Governing Body, under the transformational leadership of our chairperson, Mr Yusuf Ismail for all their hard work and tireless championing of our school. I sincerely express my gratitude to our parents and community for consistently supporting our school. I also take this opportunity to wish our grade 7 learners a fond farewell and every success as they move on to high school.

An enormous shout out goes out to every single staff member of Dr Yusuf Dadoo Primary School: SMT, Teachers, Admin staff, Support staff and PYEI staff who dedicate themselves day after day to the education of our young people with kindness and respect. Thank you Amazing and Awesome #DYDPS staff.

As the new academic year approaches, I am excited about our journey…that of gradually transforming our school into a 21st Century Learning Ecosystem. Your partnership in our journey is key. I, together with my staff, look forward to continuing to work with you to provide quality education to your child.

We are looking forward to welcoming our incoming Grade R and 1 Learners and our current learners back on Wednesday 12th January 2022.

I wish our learners, staff and parents a safe and restful summer vacation. Here’s to quality and fun times with family and friends and a sense of rejuvenation for the new year.
