At Dr Yusuf Dadoo Primary School the principal, SMT and staff members have been working tirelessly around the clock to make sure our school is prepared for the arrival of the Grade 7 learners on 1 June 2020. The school has complied with all the necessary protocols given to us by the Department of Education. Classrooms have been deep cleaned and sanitized. The process of defogging took place last week Saturday (23 May 2020).
The school has set up screening stations for both teachers and learners. Each classroom has its own sanitizing station. Furniture has been laid out and marked, making sure to keep all learners at a 1.5m distance. We have set up a quarantine centre for learners and teachers who display symptoms related to COVID-19.
Weeks of hard work have gone into the process of getting our school ready in time to welcome our learners. The health and safety of our learners is our greatest priority and we have made sure that all precautionary measures have been taken.
